Certificate I in Deaf Gain Education

This course is designed exclusively for deaf and hard-of-hearing sign language users. It will provide participants with foundational knowledge, and skills required to undertake future pathways as a bilingual deaf or hard-of-hearing person, specifically in the areas of * Deaf Gain and cultural studies * Visual spatial communication * Auslan * Written English * Numeracy * Technology

It provides grounding for applying a bilingual approach to Auslan and English texts, numerical tasks and digital activities, and a confident sense of Deaf Gain.
