It will provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to * read lecture notes, critically analyse academic articles in textbooks, journals and websites Follow guidelines and instructions for academic purposes. * take notes from lectures, presentations and academic articles, write reports and essays, and use paraphrasing and referencing in academic writings. * use effective listening strategies and techniques to decipher both content and subject matter in lectures and presentations. * speak clearly and confidently using correct pronunciation, academic vocabulary and useful expressions.
