Here is what the Course in Skills to Develop Learning Pathways qualification offered by TAFE Queensland covers and who it is designed for.
The Course in Skills to Develop Learning Pathways has been specifically designed to meet the needs of English as an additional language (EAL) and native English client cohorts who need to build a learning pathway commencing at ACSF Level 1 with an emphasis on skills acquisition and application of skills in highly familiar contexts. Learners at this level are beginning to apply simple learning planning and management processes and have very basic learning strategies and prior knowledge. Consequently, they require a significant level of structured support, modelling and repetition of learning. Unit outcomes in this course describe very basic communication and numeracy skills needed to allow ongoing development within a learning context.
