Certificate II in Vocational Preparation for Women

The Certificate II in Vocational Preparation for Women is designed to provide a grounding in work-related literacies, employability and communication skills as an introduction to vocational competencies.

Learners are able to develop their work-related literacies, numeracy and communication skills as well as their personal and interpersonal skills in this qualification to move successfully into employment or further study.

Work-related literacies may include:

* Accessing, reading and using different types of information

* Writing and recording information

* Listening to different types of information

* Giving different types of verbal information

* Performing a range of numeracy tasks

* Developing and applying skills in appropriate new technologies for information discovery, transfer, analysis, review and communication
