Advanced Diploma of Integrative Practice

This qualification provides knowledge and skills to work as counsellors and coaches who work with clients on personal, professional, psychological and faith issues using established counselling and coaching skills and models and approaches. They use communication and assessment skills to apply an integrative approach to client wellbeing. At this level, the counsellor or coach may work in roles in established agencies or their own independent practice. This course is suitable for existing workers in the community health sector.

In January 2025, the National VET Regulator amended the course title to remove the term, “(insert stream)” to align to national data reporting requirements. The course structure was not amended. The streams of specialisation remain unchanged in the course structure. The completed stream is to be identified on testamurs below the qualification code and title as per the requirements of the AQF.
