Certificate IV in Technical Surveillance

The vocational outcomes of this course meet Police Technical Surveillance requirements that improve the standards of the technical surveillance capability across Australia, using an agreed national standard which will be utilised to ensure new members are sufficiently qualified to take part in potentially high-risk surveillance operations. The accredited course will also be accessible to other government officers from federal intelligence agencies, state anti-corruption agencies, or other government organisations that may require technical surveillance training in order to carry out their duties in counter terrorism and anti-criminal activity. Australian Defence Force personnel (Army, Air Force and Navy) are also eligible for inclusion within this course, depending on their role and specified tasks within their unit.
