Graduate Diploma of Sandtray Therapy

This course is intended to broaden technical and theoretical knowledge and skills of graduates to perform the functions associated with Sandtray Therapy. Graduates acquire the required skills and knowledge to work with clients in the facilitation of Sandtray therapy, in interpreting the client's needs and emotions through using Sandtray miniature objects, or symbols. Ultimately using Sandtray therapy to improve the client's mental health and wellbeing. This course equips graduates to work across the lifespan in Sandtray therapy working in specialist fields with children, adolescents, adults or groups in human services, community services, mental health, youth or educational setting to support the emotional expression and wellbeing of clients.

Graduates at this level will apply advanced knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, effective communication, well-developed judgement, adaptability and responsibility as advanced level Sandtray therapists.
