About this qualification

This course is designed to develop skills to use an Aboriginal Language in oral and written forms for informal conversation, underpinned by knowledge of Culture and Cultural Identity. This course will provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to begin to use an Aboriginal Language in social contexts. Graduates will use skills to speak and listen in an Aboriginal Language in spoken exchanges for informal conversation. They will read and write basic sentences to communicate. Graduates will develop a basic resource to use to share for learning an Aboriginal Language. Graduates will gather information on family connections within own Community, totems of region and Language groups.

They will establish links within own identity and Community and they will learn about revival of Language.
