About this qualification

This course adheres to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and has been accredited by the National VET Regulator (Australian Skills Qualification Authority - ASQA). It is delivered by Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV), a delivery partner of NSW Health RTO (code 90198). The 6-day foundational course aims to build and promote the core skills and knowledge required for Bilingual Community Educators to plan, organise, deliver Review programs to diverse cultural groups in community settings. It will enhance their ability to recognise and respond to the learning needs of diverse and vulnerable groups with limited access to health services. It will also provide skills to manage group conflict and other group processes.

Participants will need to complete and submit written assessments, as well as present 3x 30 mins sessions in class, to gain a statement of competency.
