About this qualification
This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to safely undertake cleaning services for split-system and ducted air conditioning systems of up to 24 kilowatts.
This course is not designed to require the graduate to undertake any electrical or refrigerant handling work.
Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to able to safely dismantle, clean, identify and treat corrosion, and reassemble these systems.
Graduates will be able to undertake job roles as an air conditioning (or HVAC) cleaning technician, air-hygienist and/or air conditioning duct cleaner working for organisations who provide air conditioning cleaning services for a range of domestic, commercial and industrial clients, such as:
● residential customers ● accommodation services ● mine sites and camps ● educational institutions ● small businesses ● government facilities.
