Certificate IV in Circus Arts

This course is designed to provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to perform in circus acts at preliminary level in community, recreational and pre-professional environments as a circus skills performer or ensemble member. A choice of electives will provide graduates the opportunity to specialise in one of three streams 1) as a specialty artist 2) a circus coach or 3) as an assistant in backstage and/or technical production skills to support their early careers as circus performers. In addition, graduates will gain the foundational skills required to progress to higher-level courses such as the Bachelor of Circus Arts.
