Graduate Diploma of Counselling

This course is designed to provide graduates with skills and knowledge to work as professional counsellors who support clients with personal, psychological, relational Spiritual concerns using integrative counselling models grounded in both psychological theory and a Christian worldview. Graduates will be able to: • Apply established and emerging counselling models and interventions to address complex client needs • Communicate effectively and ethically in therapeutic relationships • Conduct assessments and formulate client-centred approaches to promote holistic wellbeing • Integrate theological reflection and psychological insight into counselling practice • Adhere to professional and ethical standards in both independent and organisational settings • Reflect on personal and spiritual formation as part of ongoing professional development
