Certificate IV in Performing Arts

This course is designed to develop further depth of foundation skills and reinforce intermediate performance skills and reflects a stepped component in the overall developmental processes required to be undertaken to develop self as a performing artist for live and filmed performance contexts.

Individuals are expected to be able to demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge for routine activities associated with developing self as a performing artist under Artistic Direction in multi-genre outcomes (music, dance and acting).

While the occupation outcomes of this course align to the occupation description for ANZSCO code 211199 Actors, Dancers and Other Entertainers nec on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website, the AQF level of the qualification does not align the Skill Level assigned to this occupation by the ABS.
