The Certificate IV in Project Controls Practices equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to apply project scope, time, cost, risk, management, and stakeholder engagement techniques. It develops their ability carry out configuration management and develop and apply a project controls framework, including developing an integrated baseline and implementing project controls. More generally it helps participants develop and apply professional ethics in project control.

This qualification does not result in a graduate being qualified as a Construction Project Manager in accordance with the specifications listed on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and the Australian Qualifications Framework Skill Level for occupation ANZSCO code 133111– Construction Project Manager.
