Course in Asset Management

The vocational employment outcomes for participants in the Course in Asset Management are the knowledge and skills in asset management that add to relevant existing qualifications for example in business, engineering, local government Utilities. Typical roles include team leaders, managers and professionals whose tasks and activities are not primarily in asset management but whose output impact directly on asset management outcomes of the organisation. This includes, but is not limited to, supply and procurement, customer service, sales and marketing, design, operations and maintenance, engineering project management, information technology, regulatory and pricing management and accounting and finance. A key outcome is the understanding of the integration / relationship of asset management with other organisational management systems and processes.

Individuals will typically provide key inputs or support activities to asset managers, or undertake essential activities where knowledge of the asset management operating context, drivers and needs of their, or their personnel’s, work is essential to effective and efficient delivery of organisational and stakeholder outcomes.
