About this qualification
This course is intended to provide graduates with knowledge, and skills to perform the following functions associated with performance for stage (theatrical productions and other forms of live performance) and screen (television, film, online, digital and multimedia platforms.)
Graduates will be able to: • Prepare for an audition • Apply acting technique in stage and screen environments • Analyse and interpret scripts for performance • Perform roles in theatrical, film, television, hybrid and new media productions • Collaborate with other performers and technical personnel in a production context. • Manage own responsibilities as an entry-level actor.
