Certificate IV in Small Arms Weapon Maintenance

This course is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to work as a weapon armourer in authorised weapon repair facilities. Graduates will be able to access, analyse, interpret and act on information from a range of sources (technical documentation and organisational procedures) to conduct weapon system maintenance and repair. They will also apply organisational and legislative requirements for safety and security. The graduate will be capable of making independent judgements when applying appropriate solutions to a range of known problems.
