Course in Community Breastfeeding Mentoring

This course is intended to provide graduates with a range of knowledge and skills to perform the following functions associated with Health and or Community Peer Support Work relating to breastfeeding. Graduates will be able to: • Provide culturally safe breastfeeding information and support • Increase community health literacy • Increase community members’ self-management of lactation related health care • Follow limits of practice and confidentiality requirements
