Course in the Safe Use of Swing Stage Scaffolds

This course teaches students how to safely operate a swing stage scaffold. Graduates will be able to: • Plan the job using a swing stage scaffold • Conduct routine checks • Safely conduct swing stage operations • Shut down and secure the swing stage scaffold.

This course meets the requirements under Part 5.3 of the Scaffolding Code of Practice 2021 (Workplace Health and Safety Queensland) for a person to use suspended scaffold in Queensland.
