About this qualification
This course is designed to provide graduates with an understanding of holistic classical Yoga techniques and their benefits. It will guide graduates in their first steps towards becoming a holistic classical Yoga teacher, or it will deepen and progress their current Yoga teacher qualifications.
The course focuses on physical movements (Asanas), breathing techniques (Pranayama), relaxation techniques (Yoga Nidra, Shavasana), philosophy for lifestyle choices and mindfulness practices (Meditation).
Graduates will be able to: • understand holistic classical Yoga techniques and its benefits for the purposes of a personal Yoga practice. • make a first step towards becoming a holistic Yoga teacher or deepening and progressing current Yoga teacher qualifications. • teach holistic Yoga techniques of physical movements (Asanas), breathing techniques (Pranayama), relaxation techniques (Yoga Nidra, Shavasana), philosophy for lifestyle choices and mindfulness practices (Meditation) that can be practiced gaining the health benefits of reduced physical, mental and emotional stress. • work autonomously to assess client’s needs and design appropriate Yoga programs for the purpose of personal Yoga practice and Yoga teaching. • monitor own progress as well as the progress of clients and adapt Yoga programs where/when required.
The 11468NAT Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practice and Teaching supersedes and is equivalent to the 10975NAT Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practice and Teaching.
