Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies

Completion of this course will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to develop, review Update an asthma risk assessment and emergency management strategy and to recognise and respond safely to an asthma episode using asthma related first aid interventions. This course applies to workers who have a duty of care requirement and work in a wide range of settings where emergencies involving asthma episodes may occur. The worker’s duty of care requirement may be an industry, legislative and/or specific organisation/workplace requirement.
