Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science

The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science is a nationally accredited qualification developed as an undergraduate course for students to learn the underpinning knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of a Dermal Therapist working within a cosmetic medical clinic.

Skills are developed in patient consultation, holistic patient assessment, multi-modality treatment plans, cosmetic medical procedures, patient support and the management and promotion of the cosmetic practice.

This qualification provides clarity of scope of practice within safe and effective parameters to fulfil a position as a Dermal Therapist working under the supervision of a cosmetic doctor, surgeon or cosmetic nurse.
