Course in Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitting

This course provides participants with the knowledge to provide advice and consumer information regarding the different types of child car restraints, their suitability for use and the consequences of non-use or incorrect use of child car restraints.

Participants will also develop the skills and knowledge to inspect the existing installation of child car restraints, correctly fit child car restraints into vehicles and provide advice on their correct installation and use.

Western Australian course graduates are registered as a Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters.
