    The Bachelor of Arts offers a structured journey through Western Civilisation, integrating history, literature, philosophy, and theology. For the first two years, students will study core units in all four disciplines. In their third year, students may elect to complete a major by choosing four third-year electives from a single discipline.

    The curriculum is integrated in two ways. First, the units of study in each discipline build upon each other from year to year The concepts mastered in first year reappear and inform the content studied in second and third year. Second, the disciplines are integrated with each other, allowing students to make connections between them each semester.

    • Year 1: Explore the ancient world, beginning with Greek literature, history, and philosophy alongside Old Testament studies. The second semester shifts to Roman civilisation, including Virgil’s Aeneid, Augustine’s Confessions, and the New Testament.
