In the Bachelor of Commerce, you’ll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to commerce and business, followed by one or two majors to develop depth and specialisation in your chosen discipline. You’ll also acquire a set of sought-after employability skills – data literacy, business analysis, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, critical thinking and a global mindset, among others All key competencies that today’s top employers regard extremely highly.
The Bachelor of Psychology will provide you with a scientific understanding of the psychological processes that underlie behaviour. You’ll get exposure to a range of fundamental psychological concepts, as well as to specialised areas such as child psychology, neuropsychology, social and personality psychology, organisational psychology, cognition and perception Psychopathology. When followed by an honours year, this degree is a pathway to postgraduate study, which will enable you to become a qualified psychologist. From 2024, honours in psychology can be undertaken via the new one-year Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours). Applications to this degree are available to those who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Psychology, and who meet the required WAM and additional criteria.
