AMPA's Bachelor of Dance is an innovative performance-based degree. It is an intensive and practical training course designed to develop highly skilled, disciplined and versatile dance artists. AMPA boasts a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that inspires creativity and encourages students as they strive to reach technical, artistic and scholarly excellence.

As the only performance-focused dance degree in NSW, this practical course nurtures talent in an atmosphere that encourages creativity and applauds innovation. The Bachelor of Dance at AMPA provides students with the technical ability, creativity and professionalism required to sustain a successful career in the extremely competitive dance industry in Australia and abroad. Students receive an extensive curriculum in composition, as well as undertake complementary studies (dance history and appreciation, body science, music for dancers, dance production, dance and film) and electives (pedagogy, virtual dance and Latin American and ballroom styles).

Students who successfully complete the first four trimesters of Bachelor of Dance are eligible to graduate with an AssocDeg Dance (Performance).
