Here is what the Bachelor of Education (Inclusive Education) qualification offered by Flinders University covers and who it is designed for.
The Bachelor of Education (Inclusive Education) is an initial teacher education degree that prepares pre-service teachers to teach in primary educational settings. Pre-service teachers (PSTs) will develop in-depth curriculum and pedagogy knowledge across the curriculum with a specific focus on inclusive education, aligned with state and national curriculum frameworks. The course provides a balance of educational learning theory with specialised content knowledge in applied pedagogical approaches. It will bridge the theory and practice nexus so that PSTs apply the latest evidence-based pedagogy in inclusive education. Inclusive education is a synergistic progressive space for growth and PSTs will be equipped to support all learners in their classrooms.
Successful completion will enable you to apply for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
