Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program)

When you study the Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer program) you learn about the design, supervision, and management of coal, mineral and metal mines, and their associated infrastructure. Importantly, you'll learn how to do this with minimal damage to the environment. Students gain an understanding of civil and mining engineering concepts in preparation for their professional career.

By studying a tailored program of courses, our students learn to achieve this balance.

This program involves two years' study at the University of Newcastle. The remaining two years are undertaken at the University of New South Wales or the University of Wollongong.
