The Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies) gives you the skills and knowledge to work in skin health and anti-ageing treatments. Students will gain hands-on experience with advanced skincare techniques and the latest dermal technologies, including microdermabrasion, microneedling, chemical peels, LED therapy, IPL, laser, radiofrequency, ultrasound Cryolipolysis, preparing them to deliver safe, evidence-based treatments for a range of skin and body conditions.
The degree also develops your understanding of dermal therapy principles, innovations, and professional practice, backed by a foundation in health science and biology. You’ll gain practical experience in our student-led clinic on the Brisbane campus, where you’ll treat real clients and build the confidence to start your career in this exciting field.

You’ll be able to gain 65 hours clinical experience at an external organisation of your choice You'll also undertake 230 hours of intensive practical training at our on-campus, student-led clinic The Practice Wellbeing Centre.
