About this qualification
The Diploma in Disability and Community Practice has been designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to help promote the rights of people with disability to inclusive lives. Learn to champion human rights and work collaboratively to promote access, inclusion, and equity. In one year of study, you can gain the skills you need and be job ready within just 12 months.
Graduates of the degree will be able to work in alliance with people with disability, their families and advocates to promote inclusion and quality in life and use advocacy, negotiation and person-centred planning skills to facilitate community inclusion for and with people with disability.
Upon completion of this degree students can apply for up to one year of credit towards the Bachelor of Disability and Community Inclusion (SATAC code 244471) or the Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education (SATAC code 224531).
