Diploma in Indigenous Public Health - Sunshine Coast

The Diploma in Indigenous Public Health is a one-year qualification offered with blended learning and on-campus options. It has been designed to offer those working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health an opportunity to upgrade skills in public health, in their current role, or to further their career. You will learn about the health and wellbeing of Indigenous people with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and foundation public health concepts and skills. It also introduces you to environmental health and ecological and Indigenous frameworks for understanding complex health and wellbeing issues.

Successful completion of this Diploma provides you with a pathway to the Bachelor of Health Science where you can elect to major in Health Promotion or Environmental Health Are both professionally accredited programs.
