Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming specialisation) - on campus with some online

Advance your IT career with this diploma level course and learn specialist skills that will help you qualify graduates for employment as an assistant software developer or systems administrator. In this specialisation students will learn how to build advanced user interfaces and implement a model view controller framework. Students will also learn how to match ICT needs and provide strategic direction to business, including how to promote workplace cyber security.

Combined diploma/degrees: The Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming) can be combined with other programs as listed below to attain the awards of Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming) from TAFE Queensland and the relevant degree from the university. Students undertake initial study at TAFE Queensland and complete the degree at the relevant university. Duration, location, mode of study, semester intake, electives and specialisations may vary. All mandatory university admission and English language requirements must be met before university enrolment is finalised. For more information contact the relevant university. Note: TAFE Queensland students making transition to the degree may need to wait six months to start with the semester one university intake.

To apply for a combined diploma/degree, applicants must select the Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming) for the relevant TAFE Queensland location on their application and nominate their preferred degree/university (one only). Applicants can list the stand alone diploma or the combined program but not both. Listing more than one is not needed because they have the same eligibility and ATAR/rank requirements.
