This course is ideal for creative people seeking employment in the film, television, games industry, and screen and media industries. In this course student will gain a diverse range of skills in technical and theoretical Game Development. Students will be able to expand on their creative talents through practical exercises in Game Design, 3D Modelling, Programming, and Game Art, all while working in a collaborative Simulated studio environment. Students will have access to industry standard equipment and the opportunity to develop close industry contacts through our leading educators.
Combined diploma/degrees: The Diploma of Screen and Media (Animation, Gaming and Visual Effects specialisation) can be combined with other programs as listed below to attain the awards of Diploma of Screen and Media (Animation, Gaming and Visual Effects specialisation) from TAFE Queensland and the relevant degree from the university. Students undertake initial study at TAFE Queensland and complete the degree at the relevant university. Duration, location, mode of study, semester intake, electives and specialisations may vary.
