We will explore a range of genres--from the Regency romance to the horror film--and uncover some of the ways in which texts are adapted across a variety of media forms. By the end of this subject, you should have developed an understanding of the Adaptation industry, and of how the meanings of texts can change when they shift in time, in place, and in media. This is a level 1 subject and includes live sessions with the expectation of student attendance and participation.
