About this subject
Important Information : Students are unable to self-enrol in this subject. Enrolment must be via review by the Academic Chair to ensure successful completion of SHP632 Applied Health Research Methods: From Research to Practice and to discuss the project. Please contact Dr Melanie Murray ( [email protected] ) if you wish to enrol in SHP603. This subject equips students with advanced skills in conducting integrative reviews of scholarly literature and translating review findings into a coherent and feasible research proposal. Students will critically examine existing research across disciplines, synthesise findings to identify gaps, and formulate a research question or hypothesis grounded in evidence. Emphasis is placed on developing a deep understanding of research design, methodological rigour, and ethical considerations in research planning. Please Note: All students studying at Murdoch University will need to complete the compulsory unit, Murdoch Academic Passport (MAP100), which only takes 2-3 hours to complete online.
