It requires just one day per week over the course of the semester, making it manageable with other academic and personal responsibilities. Placements are matched to each student’s course, interests, and career aspirations. A designated placement mentor is assigned to support student learning throughout the experience. This is an advanced-level unit that integrates work and learning, comprising 80 hours of applied learning (7.5 hours per placement day) and approximately 40 hours of coursework and teaching.
