This subject begins with an exploration of issues in contemporary research and theories of learning and teaching. It then critically examines “innovation” in curriculum and learning design, physical and online learning spaces and educational technologies. Learners will develop an innovation by employing design thinking principles and processes to enhance their students’ learning experience and/or outcomes in their own teaching practice. This subject is designed to develop outcomes that can be used as evidence of innovation in one’s teaching.
