You will examine approaches that drive digital innovation, through applying design thinking, user experience and other contemporary methods for exploring problems and opportunities. In addition, you will investigate how digital transformation is a collaborative and creative process that enables for opportunities in the digital economy. You will therefore learn how to use design thinking tools and techniques and other human-centred approaches to identify, analyse and develop innovative approaches and transformational solutions. In addition, you will develop the skills needed to be an innovative and reflective practitioner. This subject also introduces learning through practice by exposing you to authentic learning experiences. These experiences are placed at the centre of learning and assessment, so you have the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to respond to industry, community and/or global needs.
