Working with a range of literature, you’ll explore strategies for teaching reading comprehension and fluency, and ways of responding to texts. Other elements of the language and literacy program, such as spelling and vocabulary development, the building of grammar and text knowledge, and writing skills are also explored, and issues in assessment are considered.
