New lexical items encountered in the context of graduated texts will be reinforced by a series of exercises after each set text. These will enhance your comprehension and explicitly teach you strategies for approaching unfamiliar texts. You will also work together to construct a German/English glossary of key vocabulary items throughout the trimester. You will continue to build on your knowledge of contemporary German culture as you read and analyse a range of current texts.
