Relevant aspects of contemporary Greek society and culture are also introduced. The emphasis continues to be on practice at listening, reading, speaking and writing Greek in everyday situations, but students are also introduced to the structure of the language. Culture is embedded throughout language, so learning another language develops your intercultural communication skills, preparing you to be responsive and agile in varied situations. This is a level 1 subject and includes live sessions with the expectation of student attendance and participation.
