At the end of this subject you should be able to read and write everyday Hindi and understand and participate in conversations on topics such as people's occupations, going on holiday, visiting sacred sites, leisure and entertainment, and Indian food and customs. Culture is embedded throughout language, so learning another language develops your intercultural communication skills, preparing you to be responsive and agile in varied situations. This subject continues from Hindi 1. If you are unsure of your Hindi level, contact the instructor for a language assessment. This subject includes live sessions with the expectation of student attendance.
