You will develop your competence in reading, writing, understanding and speaking Indonesian at an upper-intermediate to advanced level. You will continue your Indonesian language development and the advancement of cultural understanding through the study of a variety of moderately complex texts from sources such as Indonesian newspapers, magazines, etc. covering themes such as life in Indonesian cities, education, religion and politics. Learning and acquisition is enhanced through 'real life' communicative tasks and activities. Discussion of contemporary issues and other activities will be conducted mostly in Indonesian. Grammar will be taught in order to enhance learning and the acquisition of the language.
