About this subject
This subject allows students to extend their formal academic learning beyond the classroom. Students complete a minimum of 80 hours of work placement combined with academic activities that require reflection on self-efficacy, skill application and skill development. Subject to approval from the University, placements can be undertaken within an organisation, remotely, or as a virtual experience. This subject provides students with opportunities to apply and adapt their skills from a Business, Criminology or Humanities discipline to a real-world environment and network with employers. It brings together the expertise of industry partners and La Trobe University staff for the benefit of students' professional development. There are deadlines associated with this subject.
