Taught through interactive and self-directed engaging learning approaches and materials, this subject will enable students to progress their Korean language competency and cultural literacy in various aspects of Korean society and culture to prepare them to live and work in Korea. On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to both read and produce low-intermediate level materials in Korean and gain further confidence in using Korean language in everyday and workplace settings. On successful completion of Korean Intermediate 3 and 4 students will reach a level of competency equivalent to TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) scale of proficiency upper 2/ lower 3.
