Students will learn how principles and methods drawn from neuroscience (e.g., neuroimaging techniques, neuropsychological assessment) can be applied to study the neurobiological foundations of crime. Contemporary and cutting-edge findings from neurocriminology research will provide insight into how criminal behaviour can be influenced by brain structures and functioning, biochemical abnormalities, genetics and psychophysiology.
