Students will learn about how to access, interpret and communicate with educational research. Through the use of interesting and compelling case studies of research controversies and projects, students will learn to evaluate the ethics, politics, methods, purpose and findings of research. Students also explore key and emerging approaches to conducting educational research with the purpose of critically evaluating research from different perspectives. By completing this subject, students will be prepared for postgraduate studies and to critically interpret and use educational research as part of their studies and professional practice.
