The subject will allow you to apply philosophies and theories related to teaching and learning. The subject also addresses professional responsibilities, effective communication and reflective practices to support your workplace learning. The professional experience practical assessment is a low-stakes work place learning opportunity intended to enable practical application of the knowledge and skills gained, along with providing students with insights into the complexity of the teacher’s role. All required clearances to work with children must be obtained and valid, and all other preparation requirements met. All assessment components must be passed in order to pass the subject.
