This subject will focus on the role of social entrepreneurship and social enterprise in relation to sustainable development, social impact and value creation. You will explore definitions and characteristics of social entrepreneurship, and different forms and frameworks of social enterprise organisations in dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems. This includes social oriented community based initiatives, equality issues, sustainable development goals, and contextualisation of industry typologies and business contexts, such as healthcare and the care economy.
