Bachelor of arts specialisations include history, sociology, human geography, economics, Indigenous Studies, and political science.

This foundation is then complemented by specialised knowledge in areas such as policy analysis, program evaluation, leadership and management, public administration, and strategic planning.

This vertical degree combination can foster skills in data analysis, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making within the public sector.

Opportunities to boost your career development and employability are integrated throughout the degrees, and you'll engage in case studies, internships Collaborative projects with leading organisations, gaining practical experience and building a professional network before you graduate.

Note: The Bachelor of Arts may be undertaken full-time or part-time at either the Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. A full-time student will generally attend 12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the trimester. Classes are generally scheduled during the day but some are offered during the evening between Monday and Friday. The Master of Public Policy and Leadership is delivered online. Some courses will include optional in-person workshops and discussions. Students will access course materials, participate in learning activities, lodge assessment items and access support services via Learning@Griffith. Access to a reliable computer with internet connection is essential.
